Common dig at Alabama Gold Camp Oct 11

This will be October common at AGC. It will be on Saturday, October
11, 2008.
We are going to make it as fair and fun for everyone involved as
possible. Every process from start to finish will be in open view for
everyone. Clean up and split will include ones involved in the
common. Everything found will be split. After the split into bags as
equal as possible it will be numbered, then there will be a drawing
to determine who gets what.
There will be several pieces of equipment being run. Anyone is welcome
to use their own equipment in the common but will need to have someone
in charge with them during clean-ups. Miners meeting will be at the
store at 7:30 am CST Saturday morning. We should be going by 8:00 and
go to 4:00. Clean up will be at the shed where the food should be
about ready. The cost is $100.00. Everyone in the common will be in a
drawing for door prizes, entered in the panning contest for prizes,
and get your split of the gold. Anyone that does not want to be in the
common can prospect for the day at regular fees. You do not need to
be in the common to come and eat Saturday night (free). Only ones
entering the common will be in the split and allowed to be part of
clean up.

Sorry about that !!!! We had 21 in the common, Recovered a lot of larger pieces of gold in the trommel this time ! Nice gold split ! Chllie by the gallon ! Everyone had a good time !!!! Lots of photos by Miss Karen, They are in our photos section of our site, and on Bama Gold, in photos. And I would like to thank all of our volunteers that helped put on the common !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
