Hi folks,
This evening I have been working on a new and "paid" host website. Soon all will be ok and no more unavailable service or limitations. I will continue to work on the new site and as soon as the technical transferring of my domain is taken care of, your clicks to arkiegold.com should take you right to the new site. You may need to refresh your browser for the change to take affect on your computer. Arkie

You'll love having a pay server. You can do all kinds of trick stuff. I like using it to run our multiple websites. The first is the host name, the other 2 are masked so they don't pull the cutpharmers name in the bar. If you need some help or info, hit me up.

Hey arkie, I noticed you said something about the air bubble in your pour. You should be able to patch the existing pour hole and drill a new one through the rubber in a corner. This would allow you to tilt it a at and angle and pour so that the pour hole is at the top corner. You would just have to make a base to set the whole thing at a slight angle as you pour.

Hmmm. I tried drilling. This stuff don't like drill bits! Goofed it up...
Will have to re-do the mold. Before I do that I want feedback from the pan testers. will provide classifiers made from the PVC parts I used to make the classifier mold.

Charlie try a diamond drill bit or diamond hole saw or a carbid drill bit.

Too late russ, that mold is ruined. Drill bit I used was a carbide but the rubber just tore and wadded up. This particular rubber is very flexible and not that great tear strength but it sure is good to work with and gives good detail. I'm providing all the testers with PVC Classifier that will fit in the pan. You have to install your own screen to desired material if you even use it with the cons you have. Mailing them all Monday!
You are gonna love what is coming next! That curvy thing is coming along vewwwy nicely...

Have I missed the newest installment of your illustrated mold making tutorial? Sure don't want to miss a episode!!! Where'd you hide it this time? LOL
YC
NEVER MIND...just found it! I'm confused about one pix tho'....you seem to have a white lid ontop of your white pan original. What is the white lid for? I'm missing something, I just know I'm missing something.

Not bad advice digi, just an impatient operator, lol! It's ok. PVC classifiers are easy to make. I've gone on to molding bigger and better things right now so maybe will go back to that...
YC...The early bird gets the worm! Where you been? That's a little classifier for the pan and fits in a groove molded into the pan. I guess russ can tell ya all about it when he tests it out.

Looks cool, we must be on the same brainwave.lol I have been sketching a couple variations, one kind of similar, one very different. Problem, I have had zero timedue to Hollywood builders building bonanza at my regular job and an influx of side jobs. I am planning on making a rollable sluice box that the sides fold in for going cave panning. Fairly sure how I am going to make it, not so sure when I'll ever find time to work on it. Looks good Arkie, keeps me entertained.

Thanks for reply, Arkie.
No, I understand "that classifier part." I'm talking about the pix that has a white flat thingie, appears to be maybe a 1/4 thick, it's flat, and it has no definition besides its roundness. It is to the LEFT of the newly released black pocketpan and the opened 2 halves of the blue mold below.

Do you see what I'm referring to now?

Ok that's the original pocket pan master, the mold was made from. It looks flat because its all white and the light kills the depth of it I guess. All my pics are taken with cell phone so that probably doesn't help!
