I personally still use my 14" Garrett Gravity Trap Pan... But that is just my opinion... I can recover -100 mesh using it!!! I think the two best sellers are green, purple, with black coming in third... But again that it just one opnion... Different people like different colors!!! lol... Both have a "learning Curve !" I use them every day ! The gold rush pan is the fastest Ruff pan there is ! Just shovel bank run sand and gravel in to it and pan it out !!!! I test piles with it, Pan it down in about 40 to 60 seconds ! Watch me use one and you will buy it ! The pan speaks for its self. As for the Purple Hex, there is not a better or faster pan for concentrates. I use it 10 to 30 times a day. Just come to our common and watch me use it. you will see the different "Tricks" I use. I still teach beginners on the garrett pan, it is almost goof proof ! Look in my truck and you will see three pans, sp14, purple hex, gold rush pro. Every one has their favorite pan, But these three work for me every time ! Just come by and I will show you how each works.
