I went to the Buchanan GPAA site this spring. Did some sluicing on Beech creek. Found some decent gold where a dry creekbed ran down to the stream. Not a lot but enough to make a nice smile in the pan.

Paul,
I have made two trips up there recently (24 Jul & 9 Aug) and dredged 9 hrs both days.
I was hitting bed rock within a foot of the stream bed and sucked the bed rock and several ridges in the bed rock real well. They acted like riffles in a BIG riffle box. Strange and soft decomposing bed rock too!
I got some good color in every clean up. I look to sell off all the extra cons I can't reasonably pan out myself on eBay. May try to pay for my gas and other expenses!
Maybe go up for the common dig I believe is on Labor Day weekend??

WILCO. Thank you for your military service and yet another deployment overseas too.
Take a pan and a bag of your cons to pan........over............and over.............and over......... And to show others you meet how fun/easy it really is and to point them to your web site!!
I'll try to keep you abreast of my exploits too with trip reports and pics.
