Stick out tongue [:P] White's MXT Beach Trip
Reply Quote
Greeting detectorists,

Even though it was clear and cold...........like 26 degrees here in Rhode Island, I hit the local beaches with my MXT for several hours of fun.

In the end I got a lot of fresh air, and found 2 quarters, 3 cents and a big chunk of copper pipe and a strange brass fitting, among the pull tabs and beer can parts/pull tabs/debris.

No, I did not score a 18Kt ring with three 5 carat diamonds this trip, but I sure had fun wanding the beach at low tide! saw a dead shark about 3 feet long.

Some day I'll' get that "5 cents/ring" annunciation to really mean it and I'll pay for my detector that second. So far I have over $50 in coins, mostly from elemantary school playgrounds.

The weather has been so cold this past week, like lows of 11 degrees and highs of 28 degrees that the sand at the beach is the only thing not frozen solid. The bark in the playgrounds is frozen like concrete.

Anyways, I had fun, but no big score to report for now. Maybe next trip!

Randy
