Buying a Detector???

You need to read these pages first. I advised C17-A to get a MXT, you make up your own mind from owners of all kinds of machines.
Best detector on the market for all around use. I have a Gold Bug 2 that seldom is used. Still has original batteries in it.

Lee,

You know my experience so far...........a good used White's MXT is a great all around machine.

I have found over $50 in coins and some misc jewelry. Just hit the beach today. Got a little change and some metal pieces too.

Don't buy new, buy a good used one..........and save $300. I got mine off eBay for $492 + shipping.

I am very happy with my MXT. Easy to operate, finds coins like a magnet.
