I don't know. I found an ad somewhere about some fool havin' a drawing for free gold concentrates if folks signed up and posted at least one post on this new forum. I figured, "what the heck, I might get some free cons." Here I am, 2,086 posts later. My next one will make it 2,087. I have met some really great people here and got some really great gold concentrates, as well as having a really good time. It has been a pleasure.

Thanks Brian.

I had done a search on gold in the SE I think. It's been over a year ago and almost 1000 posts so it's a little hard to remember.

I found the web site by doing a web search and then emailed Brian about the club meetings.  I did not join the site for a month a two and just checked things out.  Glad I did join as I have met a great group of people

Mine was by web search also. I can say that, being a newbee then, this was the best place for me to end up. I have learned a lot form all of you crazies (I mean that in the nicest of ways) and, I feel that I have made some of the best friends a goldgrubber could find.

I have been trying to figure out how I found out about Goldgrubbin.com... The best I can remember I got an email from someone saying that some guy was giving away some free gold if you posted on his website.. Well I posted and met a bunch of good people, made a bunch of new friends, and have been hanging around ever since!!!

Now Herschel, you know that just ain't true.  Brian never advertised that as a "Herschel's Special -50 and smaller" bag.  I'll bet that when brian gets home, he'll be glad to fix you up another one....for a nominal fee.Wink [;)]
