I don't know. I found an ad somewhere about some fool havin' a drawing for free gold concentrates if folks signed up and posted at least one post on this new forum. I figured, "what the heck, I might get some free cons." Here I am, 2,086 posts later. My next one will make it 2,087. I have met some really great people here and got some really great gold concentrates, as well as having a really good time. It has been a pleasure.

Thanks Brian.

I had done a search on gold in the SE I think. It's been over a year ago and almost 1000 posts so it's a little hard to remember.

Mine was by web search also. I can say that, being a newbee then, this was the best place for me to end up. I have learned a lot form all of you crazies (I mean that in the nicest of ways) and, I feel that I have made some of the best friends a goldgrubber could find.

You are right again Doc. The "Herschel's Special" was -100 mesh. A dirty rotton trick Brian played on me. Talk about pannin' talcum powder. There is still gold in those cons I can't get out by pannin'.

Now that was a good write up Bill, I enjoyed that. Open and above board is the only way to go. Not to say that GPAA isn't honest, but there is that shadow of doubt that they themselves cast on their own integrity when they go behind locked doors to divy up the gold.

Speaking for myself, I don't want to do anything that might cast doubt on my integrity. My Great Grandpa, My Grandpa and my Daddy all taught me to do nothing that might cast doubt on the family name.

Now why did I think you were a woman Bill? I did look at your profile, but there was no indication. Well, Herschel was wrong again, and, I've been wrong before. When I quit makin' mistakes, come to my funeral. LOL

I guess you all know it's Brians fault I'm here, got a phone call as I remember, course I have slept since then. Paul glad my manhood hasn't been challenged as it is a well known fact that me and Joe Namath run around back in them days in queen size panty hose. Most guys did ! Lot easier to get a "wet" wet suit on in the mornings. Fact, if you didn't wear them, you didn't get it on until it dried out. Now we wear "skins" that let it slide right on. Baby powder and talcum pwder just made it a gooey mess, so panty hose around for everybody. Just remember to take off your spurs first, they put a "run" in them even fingernail polish won't stop.

SHUT UP SAM, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING FROM YOU OR BARB OR THAT SMARTALEC HILLBILLY CHICK REDNECK GIRL EITHER.

I'M ROLLIN' ON THE FLOOR LAUGHIN'

Seriously Bill, I guess it was the reference to Barb in your post. That plus the nursury. Just sorta struck me like there was these two women gabbin' and gossipin' over plants, and somehow got onto goldgrubbin'. I assumed, and we all know what an assumption will do to us, huh?

I probably saw the picture, but forgot. I guess my old timers kicked in.

Forgive me Bill, I apologize.

Now didn't didn't my apology sound real nice? Actually, I'm glad I made that mistake, 'cause now I know, and I got a real good belly laugh out of the responses.

OK Bill, I went and checked it out. Your dredge was that fine lookin' (the dredge bill, the dredge) home made gizmo made out of a shredder that looks like a rocket ship gettin' ready to blast off. Yep, I remember.

Nope, that AIN'T no woman in the pictures. I know what one of them looks like and that ain't it.
