I wonder if Brian, Doc, or any of our military members have panned any of the local sands yet?
Curious Me
I've collected a few samples, just trying to find time to pan 'em. Now have an issue with the area I really wanted to get into. That location has been turned over to the ISF....which means that it is now off limits to us.
'doc
I am trying to work on gettting some samples of dirt from the Djibouti, Eritrea boarder. I am told there is supposed to be some Plat hiding out up there. So far I have not found any traces of gold but I found some really nice looking black sand just off the beach 10 days ago. As soon as I get some new tubes for my tires I am going to ride back out there with my pan and do some sampling.
Brian
ABEARZZ,
Brian is a "first" lieutenant, (one very small step above a "second" lieutenant), Second lieutenants are lower than Whale defecation, which lies at the bottom of the ocean. First Lieutenants hover just above that level. In the Military, Navy excepted because they have their rank structure all screwed up, Lieutenants are JUNIOR officers who, when they are alone, believe they are gods and that gods do not have to walk. Therefore, lieutenants do not have to walk, they ride. Unless there is a senior officer along who has already learned that it is ok for officers to walk. Then the lieutenant walks to the left rear of the senior officer and says "yes Sir", or, "yes Ma'am" only as and when they are addressed by the senior officer. Otherwise, they keep their mouths shut.
OH yes, Lieutenants learn how to do their jobs from their NCO's and Warrant Officers, Air Force excepted in this case, because they are also messed up in rank structure. No Warrant Officers. How in the heck do their NCO's learn what to teach the lieutenants????????
