The Show begins at Crow Creek Mine in Girdwood Alaska and then shifts to two different dredging locations at 68 and 72 miles north of Fairbanks. The first two gold pans show the finds for the day and the last pan shows the total gold I recovered this June.
The trip is in reverse order and the other guys are my friends who came up for the second half of my trip to go fishing and pan for gold in Girdwood.
The water north of Fairbanks still had ice on several spots and averaged 36 degrees. It was all I could do to keep myself down for more than 4 hrs at a time wearing a 5 mil shortie and a 5 mil suit over it with 7mm booties and gloves.
If you click the box in the bottom right hand corner of the show it will open up and allow you to browse the individual pictures.
